Shri Raas Granth : Prakaran 6 : Verse 3 – 12
श्री रास ग्रन्थ : प्रकरण ६ : चौपाई ३ – १२
चरण अंगूठा अति भला, पासे कोमल आंगलियो सार ।
रंग तो अति रलियामणो दीसे, नख हीरातणां झलकार ॥३॥
Charan angootha ati bhala, paase komal aangaliyo saar |
Rang to ati raliyamano dise, nakh hiratana jhalkaar ||3||
The big toe of Shri Shyamaji’s feet is very beautiful. Near it there are other tender toes. The complexion of the toes appears to be very pretty. The matchless luster of the nails is similar to sparkling diamonds.
हीरा ते पण तेहज भोमना, आ जिभ्या तिहां न पोहोंचाय ।
आणी जिभ्याय जो न कहुं साथने, तो रुदे प्रकास केम थाय ॥४॥
Hira te pan tehaj bhomna, aa jibhya tiha na pohonchaay |
Aani jibhyay jo na kahu sathne, to roode prakaas kem thay ||4||
This diamond is also of that indestructible land (Paramdhaam). This worldly speech cannot reach there. If I do not describe it with this worldly tongue then how will the light of knowledge spread in the hearts of the Sundarsath?
फणा तो रंग पतंग छे, कांकसा नसो निरमल निरधार ।
कूकम रंगे पानी सोभे, चरण तली वली सार ॥५॥
Fanaa to rang patang che, kaanksa naso nirmal nirdhar |
Kukam range pani sobhe, charan tali vali saar ||5||
Shri Shyamaji’s toes of the feet are red in colour. The middle part of the toes and the veins are very beautiful, clean and tender. The border or the edges of the feet is of red shade (kumkum varna) and the sole of the foot is very beautiful.
लांक तो दीसे अति लहेकतो, रेखा सोभित अति पाय ।
टांकण घुंटी दे कांडा कोमल, पींडी ते वरणवी न जाय ॥६॥
Laank to dise ati lahekto, rekha sobhit ati paay |
Taankan ghunti de kaanda komal, pindi te varanavi na jaay ||6||
The curve on the sole is very bright and sparkling also its lines (rekha) are glorious. The bone and joint situated on the upper side of the ankle is very tender. The glory of the shin cannot be described.
कुंदन केरा अणवट सोहे, विछुडा करे ठमकार ।
माणक मोती ने नीला पाना, जुगते अति जडाव ॥७॥
Kundan kera anvat sohe, vichuda kare thamkaar |
Maanak moti ne nila paana, jugte ati jadav ||7||
The gold ring on the big toe of the Lotus feet is very elegant and the sonorous sound can be heard from the other toe rings. These rings are tactically adorned (bejewelled) with ruby (maanik), pearl (moti), green stone (nilmani) and emerald (panna).
कांबी कडलां रणझण बाजे, घुंघरी तणां घमकार ।
हेमतणां वाला माहें गठिया, झंझार तणां झमकार ॥८॥
Kambi kadla ranjhan baje, ghunghri tanaa dhamkaar |
Hemtana vala mahe gathiya, jhanjhaar tanaa jhamkaar ||8||
The kambi bracelets (काँबी कडा) in the feet are making sonorous sound. The sound of the metallic balls (ghunghru) in the anklets can be heard. The metallic balls are stringed in a golden wire. These anklets are making melodious sound.
कांबिए नंग आसमानी फूलवेल, जुगते कुंदन जडाव ।
जडाव लाल नंग नीला पीला, कडले सोभा अति थाय ॥९॥
Kaambiye nang aasmaani fulvel, jugte kundan jadav |
Jadav laal nang nila pila, kadle sobha ati thaay ||9||
The kambi bracelets are bejewelled with sky coloured gemstone and floral climbers are carved with proficiency on the gold. On the bracelets even the gemstones of red, yellow and green colour are adorned, which is making the bracelets very exquisite.
घूंघरडीनो घाट जुगतनो, कोरे करडा कुंदन ।
मांहे मोती फरतां दीसे, मध्य जडियां नीला नंग ॥१०॥
Ghunghardino ghat jugatno, kore karda kundan |
Mahe moti farta dise, madhya jadiya nila nang ||10||
The metallic balls are assembled very skillfully. At their edges small dots of gold are adorned and the pearls are put around it. In between them a green stone is bejewelled.
झांझरिया एक जुई जुगतनां, कोरे लाल जडाव कांगरी ।
एक हार बे हीरा तणी, बीजी मध्य दरपण रंग दोरी ॥११॥
Jhanjhariya ek jui jugatna, kore laal jadav kangri |
Ek haar be hira tani, biji madhya darpan rang dori ||11||
The anklet is also embellished strategically. At their ends red corals are studded. They have one chain of two diamonds and in the center of the second chain there is a mirror coloured string.
भूषण चरणे सोभंता, अने बोलंतां रसाल ।
जुजवी जुगतनां जवेर ज दीसे, करे ते अति झलकार ॥१२॥
Bhushan charane sobhtaa, ane bolta rasaal |
Jujvi jugatna javer j dise, kare te ati jhalkaar ||12||
These ornaments are adorned in the lotus feet and the melodious sound can be heard from them. There are various types of gemstones in these ornaments and they are extremely striking (bright).
