Shri Raas Granth : Prakaran 6 : Verse 23 – 32
श्री रास ग्रन्थ : प्रकरण ६ : चौपाई २३ – ३२
सोभा तो घणीए सोहामणी, जो द्रढ करी जोइए मन ।
झीणां वस्तर ने अति उत्तम, कानिए दोरी त्रण ॥२३॥
Sobha to ghaniye sohamni, jo drad kari joiye mann |
Jhina vastar ne ati uttam, kaaniye dori tran ||23||
On seeing with a focused mind the saree looks elegantly graceful. It is very fine and soft. It also has a border with three stripes.
मांहे मोती कोरे कसबी, त्रीजी नीली चुनी सार ।
अनेक विधनी वेल जो सोभे, छेडे करे झलकार ॥२४॥
Maahe moti kore kasbi, triji nili chuni saar |
Anek vidhni vel jo sobhe, chhede kare jhalkaar ||24||
In the middle there are pearls and at the border there is artwork. There are small pieces of blue coloured jewels embellished. Because of the various jewels the climbers appear to be very pretty. Both its edges are dazzling.
सुन्दर लांक सोहामणो, वांसो दीसे साडीमां अंग ।
वेण तले कंचुकीनी कसो, जुगते सोहे बंध ॥२५॥
Sundar laank sohamno, vaanso dise saadima ang |
Ven tale kanchukini kaso, jugte sohe bandh ||25||
The back / spine is visible from the saree. The vertical line on the back is very attractive. Below the braid near the waist the string of the choli (blouse) is knotted very beautifully.
अंगनो रंग निरख्यो न जाय, क्यांहे न माय क्रण क्रांत ।
पेट पांसा उर कंठ निरखतां, इन्द्रावती पामे स्वांत ॥२६॥
Angno rang nirakhiyo na jaay, kyaanhe na maay kran krant |
Pet paansa ur kanth nirakhta, Indravati paame svaant ||26||
The brightness (similar to the brightness of many suns) reflecting from the body parts of Shri Shyamaji makes it difficult to see the complexion of the body parts. By seeing the grace of Shri Shyamaji’s abdomen, ribs, bosom, and neck Indravati experiences tranquility.
अंगनो रंग अजवास धरे, तिहां स्याम चोली सोभावे ।
सुन्दर सरवे सिणगार सोहावे, तिंहा लहेर भूषण क्रण आवे ॥२७॥
Angno rang ajvaas dhare, tihan syaam chooli sobhave |
Sundar sarve singaar sohave, tihan laher bhushan kran aave ||27||
The complexion of Her body parts is glowing like light. She has worn deep blue coloured choli (blouse). All the adornment are adding grace to her beauty. The rays emanating from the ornaments are very glaring.
कसकसती चोलीने कठण पयोधर, पीला खडपा सोभंत ।
कस ठामें जे कांगरी, तिहां नीला जवेर झलकंत ॥२८॥
Kaskasti choline kathan payodhar, pila khadpa sobhant |
Kas thame je kaangri, tihan nila javer jhalkant ||28||
On the firm bosom well fitted blouse is worn from which yellow coloured joints are appearing very graceful. The border of the strings of the choli has green stones decorated from which light is spreading.
भरत भली पेरे सोभित, कांई पचरंग चुनी भांत ।
सुन्दर विधनां फूल वेल, खसबोय तणां बहेकार ॥२९॥
Bharat bhali pere sobhit, kain pachrang chuni bhant |
Sundar vidhna ful vel, khasboy tana bahekaar ||29||
On the choli the embroidery is done with pleats of colourful climbers. It also has the embroidery of variety of flowers and climbers and its fragrance is aromatic.
कंचुकी जडाव छे जुगत जुजवी, उपर आभरण भली भांत ।
सुन्दर सरूप जोई जोईने, मारो जीव थाय निरांत ॥३०॥
Kanchuki jadav che jugat jujvi, upar aabhran bhali bhant |
Sundar saroop joi joine, maro jiv thaay nirant ||30||
In the choli the jewels are embellished skillfully. Various kinds of ornaments are properly adorned over it. On seeing such a beautiful form of Shri Shyamaji my soul is feeling eternally serene.
कंठ केणी पेरे वरणवु, मारा जीवने नथी कांई बल ।
पांच हार तिहां प्रगट दीसे, सोभित दोरे वल ॥३१॥
Kanth keni pere varanavu, maara jivne nathi kain bal |
Paanch haar tihan pragat dise, sobhit dore val ||31||
How can I describe the beauty of Shri Shyamaji’s neck? Because I have no power to describe it. (Although I am describing it for the contentment of the Sundarsath) There are five chains adorned on Her neck, the strings (of the chains) are also appearing very graceful.
एक हार हीरा तणो, बीजो पांच वरण रतन ।
त्रीजो हार मोती निरमलनो, कांई चोथो हेम कंचन ॥३२॥
Ek haar hira tano, bijo paanch varan ratan |
Trijo haar moti nirmalno, kain chotho hem kanchan ||32||
Out of the five chains one chain is of diamond, second is bejewelled with five types of gems, third is of clear pearls, and fourth is made of pure gold.
