Shri Raas Granth : Prakaran 6 : Verse 33 – 42
श्री रास ग्रन्थ : प्रकरण ६ : चौपाई ३३ – ४२
हेम तणो हार जुई रे जुगतनो, नव सर नव पाटली ।
जडाव हीरा पाच रतन मोती, मांहे माणक ने नीलवी ॥३३॥
Hem tano haar jui re jugatno, nav sar nav paatli |
Jadaav hira paach ratan moti, maahe maanak ne nilvi ||33||
The beauty of the golden chain is very unique. It is made of nine strips and nine strings. It is decorated with diamonds, green gemstone, jewels, pearls, ruby & sapphire.
उतरी त्रण सर सोभंती, कांई दोरो जडित अचंभ ।
हुं केणी पेरे वरणवु, मारी जिभ्या आणे अंग ॥३४॥
Utri tran sar sobhti, kain doro jadit achambh |
Hu keni pere varanvu, maari jibhya aane ang ||34||
From those necklaces three strings hanging on the neck seem to be very elegant. Their golden threads are also stringed differently. How can I describe them? Because my tongue is a part of this temporal (earthly) body.
कचुंकीना कांठला उपर कोरे, कांई दोरे तेज अपार ।
सात रंगनां नंग पाधरां, जोत करे झलकार ॥३५॥
Kanchukina kaanthla upar kore, kain dore tej apaar |
Saat rangna nang paadhraa, jot kare jhalkaar ||35||
The strings attached to the border of the choli are beaming. Seven coloured jewels are embellished on it which are very radiant.
मांहे मोती माणक हीरा, पांना ने पुखराज ।
कुंदन मांहे रतन नंग झकले, रमवा सुन्दरी करे साज ॥३६॥
Maahe moti maanak hira, paana ne pukhraj |
Kundan maahe ratan nang jhalke, ramva sundari kare saaj ||36||
In its middle pearl, ruby, diamond, emerald and yellow sapphire bejewelled in the gold are shining. In this way Shri Shyamaji is adorning (getting ready) for the Raas leela.
कांठले माणक ने वली मोती, कुंदन मांहे पांना नंग ।
चीडतणी चारे सर सोभे, कोई धात वसेकनां रंग ॥३७॥
Kaanthle maanak ne vali moti, kundan maahe paana nang |
Chidrani chaare sar sobhe, koi dhaat vasekna rang ||37||
On the necklace ruby and pearls are embellished and emerald is bejewelled in the gold. In the necklace four strings are glorious and in them shade of a special metal is shimmering.
ए उपर वली निरखीने जोइए, तो कंठसरी भली गई अंग ।
कंठसरी केरी कली जुजवी, कांई जुजवा छे तेहनां नंग ॥३८॥
Ae upar vali nirkhine joiye, to kanthsari bhali gai ang |
Kanthsari keri kali jujvi, kain jujva che tehna nang ||38||
If we carefully look at the necklace then it seems as if it is stuck to the neck. The glory of the links of the chains appears differently. Its stones (nuggets) are also very unique.
कंठसरी जडाव जुगतनी, मांहे राती नीली जवेरोनी हार ।
सकल सिणगार स्यामाजीने सोभे, कुंदनमां मोती झलकार ॥३९॥
Kanthsari jadaav jugatni, maahe raati nili javeroni haar |
Sakal singaar Syamajine sobhe, kundanma moti jhalkaar ||39||
The necklace is embellished brilliantly. There is a line of red and blue jewels in the middle. Pearls strung to the golden strings are hanging down and are increasing its glory. In this way the adornment of Shri Shyamaji is very alluring.
नख थकी कर वरणवुं, एह जुगत अति सार ।
आंगलियों अंगूठा कोमल, नख हीरा तणा झलकार ॥४०॥
Nakh thaki kar varanavu, aeh jugat ati saar |
Aangliyo angootha komal, nakh hira tana jhalkaar ||40||
Now I shall give the description of Her nails up to Her hands. The grace is highly exalted. The thumb and the fingers are very soft. Her nails are radiating like a diamond.
झीणी रेखा हथेलिए दीसे, पोहोंचा सोभित पतंग।
आंगलिए बीसा बीस दीसे, कोमल कलाई अति रंग ॥४१॥
Jhini rekhe hatheliye dise, pohoncha sobhit patang |
Aangaliye bisa bis dise, komal kalaii ati rang ||41||
Fine lines can be seen on the palm. The backside of her hand is red in colour. The lines on all the twenty fingers are very clearly visible and the wrist is very tender and delicate.
वीटी जडाव छे छ आंगलिए, सातमी अंगूठी अति सार ।
आभलियो ने फरतां पांना, दरपणमां मुख झलकार ॥४२॥
Viti jadaav che ch aangaliye, saatmi angoothi ati saar |
Aabhaliyo ne fartaa paana, darpanma mukh jhalkaar ||42||
In the six fingers of both Her hands there are rings adorned with jewels. The seventh ring which is adorned on the thumb is exquisite. The middle part of this ring is embellished with small pieces of mirror and emerald. In the pieces of these mirror the countenance of Shri Shyamaji is glowing.
