Do you remember as kids we were always taught to behave in a particular way, follow some rules and obey our elders? Though we never understood the importance of those teachings and felt as if we were being restricted, but after being adults now we realise that those rules & regulations, those restrictions, those deprivations actually have very well become a part and parcel of our lives. Thinking back to that time & thinking now it feels that if we wouldn’t have been taught a particular way of life we would have been no better than untamed animals.
Hence in a similar way being a Pranami or better known as a Sundarsath we have to follow some rules. These rules or commandments serve as a guideline for us, following them shows our obedience and Love towards Shri Krishna. On strict adherence to these rules we can reach the Supreme Lord, Shri Krishna. The twelve commandments are :
- To believe that Shri Krishna, The Supreme Lord Aksharateet is the object of worship and the path is that of total love for him.
- To recite the sacred Tartam mantra along with the name of the eternal couple, Shri Raj Shyamaji.
- To accept Nijanandacharya Shri Devchandraji and Mahamati Shri Prannathji as true guides and to follow their teachings.
- To accept Shri Tartamvani-Kuljam Swaroop as the book of Reverence.
- To believe that Akshrateet Dham-the Eternal Abode, which is beyond the Kshar and the Akshar is the only aim of the Soul to be achieved.
- To accept Shrimad Bhagwat Gita, Bhagwat, The Vedas, The Upanishadas, and all the other sacred books as testimony for spiritual matters.
- To give equal respect to all religions, sects, prophets, and their teachings.
- To keep away from the difference of high and low, caste, colour or creed.
