Shri Raas Granth : Prakaran 1 : Verse 71 – 80
श्री रास ग्रन्थ : प्रकरण १ : चौपाई ७१ – ८०
दुरमती करे तेम कीधुं, अमृत ढोलीने विष पीधुं ।
धणी सहेजे आव्यां सुख न लीधुं, कारज कोई नव सिध्युं ॥७१॥
Durmati kare tem kidhu, amrut dholine vish pidhu |
Dhani saheje avyaa sukh na lidhu, kaaraj koi nav sidhyu ||71||
We have behaved like evil people behave. We have spilled the (words of the Sadguru in the form of) nectar and have drunk poisonous drink of this illusionary world. We did not experience the easily attainable pleasures of Dhani and hence no work got accomplished.
हवे ए दुख केने कहिए, अंग मांहे आतम सहिए ।
कीधुं पोतानुं लईए, हवे दोष कोने दईए ॥७२॥
Have ae dukh kene kahiye, ang mahe aatam sahiye |
Kidhu potanu laiye, have dosh kone daiye ||72||
To whom should we say about this grief? We ourselves will only have to bear this pain in our hearts. The fruits of one’s own deeds will have to borne by oneself only. For this who else should be blamed?
तोहे धणीए हाथथी मूक्यां नहीं, तो वली आपणमां आव्यां सही ।
ए निध मुखथी न जाय कही, जे आंही अम उपर दया थई ॥७३॥
Tohe Dhaniye haththi mukya nahi, to vali aapanma aavya sahi |
Ae nidh mukhthi na jaye kahi, je aanhi am upar daya thai ||73||
In spite of all these occurrences Dhani (Sadguru) hasn’t left our hands. He came back again to be seated in our hearts. This treasure cannot be uttered through the mouth about the grace (treasure in the form of divine knowledge) which was bestowed on us.
धन गयु ते आव्युं वली, गयो अंधकार सहु टली ।
सुखना सागर माहें गली, एने बीजो ना सके कोय कली ॥७४॥
Dhan gayu te aavyu vali, gayo andhkar sahu tali |
Sukhna saagar mahe gali, aene bijo na sake koi kali ||74||
Wealth which was lost got recovered again. This has resulted in disappearance of the darkness spread due to ignorance. Now I am engrossed in the ocean of happiness. No one else can understand this state of happiness.
हवे में सुख अखंड लीधां, मनमां मनोरथ सीधां ।
वाले आप सरीखडां कीधां, फल वांछाथी अधिक दीधां ॥७५॥
Have mae sukh akhand lidha, manma manorath sidha |
Vale aap sarikhda kidha, fal vaanchaathi adhik didha ||75||
Now I have acquired all the eternal pleasures of Paramdhaam. All the aspirations of the heart have been fulfilled. Sadguru you have made me equivalent to you and you have bestowed happiness on me which is more than my expectations (i.e. I had the wish of seeing the Paramdhaam but Dhani has come and sat in my heart and this vaani (revelation) is being revealed).
कृपा कीधी अति घणी, वली आव्या ततकाल ।
तेहज वाणी ने तेहज चरचा, प्रेम तणी रसाल ॥७६॥
Krupa kidhi ati ghani, vali aavya tatkal |
Tehaj vaani ne tehaj charcha, prem tani rasaal ||76||
Sadguru Dhani has shown a lot of mercy on me. Again he has come and sat in my heart, and as earlier (during the time of Devchandraji’s Charcha) I am getting delighted with the words filled wih love and the divine discussion.
वली वचन सोहामणां, वली वरणवनी विध विध ।
आव्या ते आनंद अति घणे, लाव्या ते नेहेचल निध ॥७७॥
Vali vachan sohaamnaa,vali varanavni vidh vidh |
Aavya te aanand ati ghane, laavya te nehechal nidh ||77||
Now again with those lovely words Dhani is describing the Paramdhaam miscellaneously. My heart is filled with joy. Because he has brought the eternal treasure with him once more.
ए निध निर्मल अति घणी, दिए साथने सार ।
कोमल चित करी लीजिए, जेम रुदे रहे निरधार ॥७८॥
Ae nidh nirmal ati ghani, diye saathne saar |
Komal chit kari lijiye, jem roode rahe nirdhaar ||78||
The indestructible treasure of this divine knowledge is very pure. Sadguru has given the essence (secrets of Braj, Raas & Paramdhaam) of this to all the Sundarsath. O Brahmasrishti! Make your heart very tender and absorb (understand) this essence, so that this eternal treasure becomes a memory.
पचवीस पख छे आपणां, तेमां कीजे रंग विलास ।
प्रगट कह्यां छे पाधरा, तमे ग्रहजो सहु साथ ॥७९॥
Pachvis pakh che aapnaa,tema kije rang vilaas |
Pragat kahya che paadhraa, tame grahjo sahu saath ||79||
The twenty five paksh of Paramdhaam are ours. O Sundarsath! Enjoy the bliss & the pleasures of Paramdhaam. Sadguru Dhani has said in very simple and clear words, please grasp them.
आपणुं धन तां एह छे, ते दिए छे आधार ।
रखे अधखिण तमे मूकतां, वालो कहे छे वारंवार ॥८०॥
Aapnu dhan tan aeh che, te diye che aadhaar |
Rakhe adhkhin tame mookta, vaalo kah che vaaramvaar ||80||
Whatsover Sadguru Dhani is giving us (25 Paksh) is our only wealth. O Sundarsath! Please do not leave it even for a second. Sadguru is also saying this repeatedly.
