Shri Raas Granth : Prakaran 2 : Verse 7 – 16
श्री रास ग्रन्थ : प्रकरण २ : चौपाई ७ – १६
श्री देवचन्दजीने लागुं पाय, जेम आ दुस्तर जोपे ओलखाय ।
दई प्रदखिणा करुं परणाम, जेम पहुंचे मारा मननी हाम ॥७॥
Shri Devchandrajine lagu paay, jem aa dustar jope olkhaay |
Dai pradkhina karu parnaam, jem pahunche maaraa man-ni haam ||7||
I touch the feet of Shri Devchandraji so that I can very well identify this invincible world. Hence again I circumambulate with a Pranaam so that all the wishes of my heart get fulfilled.
जेटली सनन्ध कही छे तमे, ते द्रढ करी सर्वे जोईए अमे ।
लीला तमे कही अपार, तेह तणो नव लाधे पार ॥८॥
Jetli sanandh kahi che tame, te drad kari sarve joiye ame |
Leela tame kahi apaar, teh tano nav laadhe paar ||8||
O Sadguru! Whatever you have said through the tartam (divine knowledge) I have firmly grasped it. You have infinitely described the eternal leela (play) of Paramdhaam. No one can reach to its end.
चौद भवन माया अंधार, पार नहीं मोटो विस्तार ।
तमने पूछुं समरथ सार, हुं केणी पेरे करुं विचार ॥९॥
Chaud bhavan maya andhaar, paar nahi moto vistaar |
Tamne puchu samrath saar, hu keni pere karu vichaar ||9||
Darkness due to the illusion (ignorance) has spread in all the 14 lokas (realms) of the Universe. Its area is so wide that it cannot be overcome by anybody. O Almighty! I humbly request you that in what way should I think to overcome this.
तमे तारतमना दातार, अजवालुं कीधुं अपार ।
साथ तणां मनोरथ जेह, सरवे कीधां तेह ॥१०॥
Tame tartamna daataar, ajvaalu kidhu apaar |
Sath tanaa manorath jeh, sarve kidha teh ||10||
O Sadguru! You are the giver of the eternal tartam (divine knowledge) and due to which unlimited light has spread. You have fulfilled the wishes of all the Sundersath.
तारतम तणे अजवास, पूरण मनोरथ कीधां साथ।
तमतणे चरण पसाये, जे उतकंठा मनमा थाय ॥११॥
Tartam tane ajvaas, pooran manorath kidha saath |
Tamtane charan pasaye, je utkantha manma thaay ||11||
Due to light of divine tartam you have fulfilled all our wishes. Now any anxiety that will generate in my heart shall certainly get fulfilled by the grace of your feet.
जेटली मनमां उपजे वात, ते सहु आतम पूरे साख ।
मन जीवने पूछे जेह, त्यारे जीव सहु भाजे संदेह ॥१२॥
Jetli manma upje vaat, te sahu aatam poore saakh |
Man jivne puche jeh, tyare jiv sahu bhaje sandeh ||12||
My soul gives the evidences of all the suspicions that generate in my heart. Whatever the mind asks the heart, the heart provides all the solutions.
ए निध बीजे कोने न अपाय, धणी विना कोने सामुं न जोवाय ।
एने अजवाले थये सुं थाए, आ पोहोरमां धणी ओलखाय ॥१३॥
Ae nidh bije kone na apaay, dhani vina kone saamu na jovaay |
Aene ajvaale thaye su thaay, aa pohorma Dhani olkhaay ||13||
This eternal (knowledge) treasure cannot be given to any worldly person (Jivasrishti) and other than Sadguru Dhani no one else is the giver of this knowledge. In the light of this eternal knowledge what not can happen? In this very life Dhamdhani & illusion (Maya) can be identified.
आप तणी पण खबर पडे, घर पर आतम रुदे चढे ।
ए अजवालुं ज्यारे थयुं, त्यारे वली पाछुं सुं रह्यं ॥१४॥
Aap tani pan khabar pade, ghar par aatam roode chade |
Ae ajvaalu jyaare thayu, tyaare vali paachu su rahyu ||14||
With the help of Tartam Gyan (Divine knowledge) one’s own personified form can be identified by oneself. The memories of the original abode (Paramdhaam) and Dhaam dhani will enter in the heart. And when (one’s own self, Paramdhaam & Dhaam Dhani) will get illumined then what will be left to know more? It means by knowing this everything can be known.
ए सुं माया करे बल, फेरवे कल करे विकल ।
अजवालामां ना रहे चोर, जागतां नव चाले जोर ॥१५॥
Ae su maya kare bal, ferve kal kare vikal |
Ajvalama na rahe chor, jaagta nav chale jor ||15||
What can this illusion do with its strength? Strategically it can change the good mind to bad mind and silence to noise. As in the light the strength (skill) of the thief is useless, similarly after getting awakened the illusion cannot use its strength (confuse us).
जदीपे जीते विध्याए, पण एने अजाण्युं न जाय ।
ज्यारे वालाजी साहे थाय, झख मारे त्यारे मायाय ॥१६॥
Jadipe jite vidhyay, pan aene ajaanyu na jaye |
Jyaare vaalaji saahe thay, jhakh maare tyaare mayaye ||16||
Even if on the basis of knowledge illusion can be conquered, still its strength cannot be completely destroyed i.e. illusion affects even the learned (scholars). When there will be grace of Sadguru Dhani only then the illusion will not be able to do anything. Though there are many forms of knowledge in this world, but with them Parmatma cannot be identified. Only with the grace of Sadguru the illusion will vanish and Parmatma will appear.
