Shri Raas Granth : Prakaran 3 : Verse 5 – 14
श्री रास ग्रन्थ : प्रकरण ३ : चौपाई ५ – १४
धणिए धणवट जे करी, तुं तां जोने विचारी तेह ।
आ पापणीने परहरी, तुं का न करे सनेह ॥५॥
Dhaniye dhanvat je kari, tu tan jaane vichari teh |
Aa paapnine parhari, tu ka na kare saneh ||5||
The way in which beloved Dhani has accepted you and taken care of you, O Soul! You yourself think about it carefully. Why don’t you leave this evil illusion and love your spiritual husband ?
आपणने तेडवा आवियां, आ दुस्तर माया माहें ।
ओलखिने कां ओसरे, भूंडा एम थयो तुं कांए ॥६॥
Aapan-ne tedva aaviya, aa duster maya mahe |
Olakhine kan osre, bhunda em thayo tu kain ||6||
Sadguru Dhani has come from Paramdhaam in this evil illusionary world to take us back. After identifying him why are you disinclining from him O stupid Soul! Why have you become so evil?
धणिए आपणसुं जे करी रे, तुं तां जोने विचारी मन ।
कोडी ते हाथथी परी करी, तुने दीधुं छे हाथ रतन ॥७॥
Dhaniye aapansu je kari re, tu tan jane vichari mann|
Kodi te haththi pari kari, tune didhu che hath ratan ||7||
Just think from your heart about the grace which Dhaam dhani has showered upon us. He has taken away the illusion in the form cowrie from our hands and has given us the gem in the form of eternal Tartam Sagar.
जीवडा तुं घारण केही करे, भूंडा घुट्यो दिन अनेक ।
जोवंता जोगवाई गई, भूंडा हजिए तुं कां नव चेत ॥८॥
Jivda tu dharan kehi kare, bhunda ghutyo din anek |
Jovta jogvai gai, bhunda hajiye tu kan nav chet ||8||
O Soul! Why do you get subjugated by the sleep of ignorance? O evil! You have spent a lot of days sleeping. Day by day this life is getting wasted, even then why don’t you become cautious?
आपण उपर अति घणी रे, दया करे छे आधार ।
आपणे काजे देह धर्या, भूंडा हजिए तुं कां न विचार ॥९॥
Aapan upar ati ghani re, daya kare che aadhaar |
Aapne kaje deh dharya, bhunda hajiye tu kan na vichar ||9||
The support of our soul shows a lot of grace on us. He has taken a form of human only because of us. O evil soul! Why don’t you think even now?
भरम भूंडो तमे परहरो, जेम थाय अजवालुं अपार ।
वचन वालाजी तणे, तुं मूलगां सुख संभार ॥१०॥
Bharam bhundo tame parharo, jem thay ajvalu apaar |
Vachan valaji tane, tu moolga sukh sambhar ||10||
O Soul! Leave all the confusions and ignorance so that the light of eternal knowledge can spread in your heart. While grasping the invaluable words of Dhani recollect the memories of the pleasures of the Supreme Abode.
आ वालो ते आवियां, ए सुख तणां दातार ।
आपण मांहे तेहज बेठां, जोई अजवालुं संभार ॥११॥
Aa valo te aaviya, ae sukh tana datar |
Aapan mahe tehaj betha, joi ajvalu sambhar ||11||
Dhamdhani the giver of the eternal pleasures has come in the form of Sadguru. He is seated in our hearts. See him in the light of the divine knowledge and ensconce yourself.
दुरमती तुं कां थयो, हुं तो पाडुं बुंब अपार ।
आंही आव्या न ओलख्या, पछे केही पेरे मोंह उपाड ॥१२॥
Durmati tu kan thayo, hu to padu bumb apaar |
Aanhi aavya na olakhya, pache kehi pere moh upaad ||12||
O Soul! Why have you become weak minded? I am calling you repeatedly. Dhamdhani had come here and you did not even identify him, now how will you hold your head up in Paramdhaam?
आंख उघाडी जो जुए, जीव लीजे ते लाभ अनेक ।
आंही पण सुख घणां माणिए, अने आगल थाय वसेक ॥१३॥
Aankh ughadi jo jue, jiv lije te labh anek |
Aanhi pan sukh ghana maniye, ane aagal thay vasek ||13||
If you will open the eyes of your heart and see, then O Soul! You will benefit more here (by utilising this human life). Even in this lok (realm) you can gain various spiritual pleasures, you will get the special pleasures in Paramdhaam anyway.
आ अजवालुं जो जोईए, जीव तारतम मोटो सार ।
वालाजीने ओलखे, तो तुं नव मूके निरधार ॥१४॥
Aa ajvalu jo joiye, jiv tartam moto saar |
Valajine olkho, to tu nav muke aadhaar ||14||
If you will see through the light gained by the knowledge then O Soul! You will know that only Tartam gyan (divine knowledge) is the best essence. With the help of this knowledge if you will identify Sadguru then you will definitely never leave his lotus feet.
